I recently bought an '01 Ranger. Because I got such a good deal I bought it even though it is a base model. However, because it is a base I have no A/C and I have vinyl seats (Terrible combo!!!). I'm looking for any replacement whether they're direct swap (Like from another Ranger from a different year) or just anything that will fit onto the factory 60/40 bench frames. What seats will interchange with my truck? Thanks in advance - Kyle (Rangurr)

all depends on what cab it is. explorer seats will bolt into ext cabs, while reg cabs require more work.

it is a regular cab pickup. How much more work are the Explorer seats going to be?

you'll need to find a set of seat tracks from a 93-7 reg cab ranger. the ex seats will bolt to the tracks, then the tracks will pretty much bolt in. might have to make a hole or two bigger on the seat tracks. won't be able to use the 6 way power tracks from the explorer though. could still use the power lumbar options though.

What year Explorer seats will work for this? I and bought some out of a 93(ish) Explorer and the layout was totally different.

any explorer seat up to 01 should fit on a 93-7 reg cab track.
