I have posted in cb thread that i was going to put mine in back i changed my mind

I took it and put the bracket into the floor and usee the chasis screws on end to mount it proped against the seat. Right now i only have one whip but today i will put my other 102 inch whip on

I know all about the directional swr so dual whips is mostly for looks hope yall like it

EDIT: I put a external speaker in between the seats on back wall because i couldnt hear the speaker to good

I added my 2nd whip i gotta lower my swrs now

No its the uniden pc78 ltw cobra 29 ltd and cobra any 29 wx is just same ..one or two diff knobs butt uniden has cobra pc board

Haha well im a member of a cbradioforum and my buddy is a ham tech he has a 85 ft ham antenna tower

I did have a ham radio but i sold it

Yah he has a big ham setup he has cb also for base hehas his whole room full. He will talk to germany, hawaii on his ham and prob ny, cali on his cb i talk skip on mine not sure you kniw bout that

Well to sum it up when the solar cycles and weather is right you will hear people from other states talking on their base like i live in alabama and tomorrow if its right i will hear ny, min, virginia etc but doesnt mean you cant talk to them. The swr has to be low on antenna then you can try talking its cool to do like last year i talked to a guy from wisconsin and thats 800 miles from me the recieve to him wont last long depends on conditions i talked to him for 2 mins but i was stoked

Well im just going to say you need something better you cant skimp on your antenna i use to have a maxon which was small as a cobra 19 and i had a k30 antenna mag on roof i had power mic and i could talk 5-7 miles depending on conditions u wont get anywhere with that one just my opinion

K30 mag is not but 35 bucks

Ha! Knew it. That thing is so flimsy its not funny. Been trying to talk my buddy into giving me one of his. He's got 2 4' whips one that's pretty much just zip tied on lol
