Picked up these seats off of Kijiji, had found a cloth set I was going to use from an autowreckers but they didn't clean up very well and when I saw these I couldn't pass them up. They are full power and also have seat heaters.

Here is a picture of the seats, going to be swapping them into my 2007 Ford Ranger Sport which has absolutely no options except for the stereo swap I did, and the explorer OHC/mirror/vanity lights as well as mustang dome.

Here's a picture of the pressure sensor that turns the airbag off when the seat belt is connected in the passenger side based on the weight it senses.

I pulled the metal floor pan out from the passenger seat and can disconnect the controller and this sensor so will move it over to the new passenger seat. Likely have to fabricate some sort of metal plate to mount under the foam on the new seat.

Only other challenge on the seats aside from the wiring, there are 6 wires to this seat, will be the seat belts which I plan to just extend the explorer mount that connects to the floor and hook it up to the old middle seat seat belts. I'll be replacing that with an explorer shorty center console when I pull the 60 seat out of the driver side.

A lot of people suggest mounting the belts to the side of the seat but that really doesn't seem very solid unless I'm missing something about where they mean.

Im liking them. Wish I could find a set like that

Here's the wiring, seems the black white/black power the motors, and two of the other wires power the lumbar, but not sure what the other two are for. Although they may be for powering the heated seats and I just didn't have enough current from my battery charger I was using to test them.

i want to say you'll have to swap the slider mechanisms from the ranger seats to the expo seats as well. IIRC (it's been awhile), the ranger sliders have the seat belt buckles mounted to them somewhere.

Here's a pic of the passenger seat removed. If I extend the bar on the side of the seatbelt holder where it bolted to the floor in the explorer, I can likely use the center seat bolts to lock it to the floor. They won't reach without extending the bar though.

Seat swap definately seems harder on a newer ranger where you have to deal with the seat belt pre tensioners and also the pressure sensor pad for the passenger side airbags.

Not sure if I'll be able to hide the pre tensioner inside the fabric on the new seats

i have the pretensioner on my truck (05) with buckets from a ranger tremor. my shorty console covers up the pretensioner pretty well, you can't even see it unless you look for it.

What do most people do with the passenger airbag pressure sensor?

Anyone have a wiring schematic for these, I can't seem to make the heated seats work wiht the switch but they seem fine if I hook directly to the elements. I'd like to know what these wires do, I am not sure the year of these seats but they do bolt in well so guessing a 2002 or 2001 explorer?

I dont onow if its the same but on my expo seats black was ground and black/ white was your 12v

Fabricated a plate to go in the new passenger seat so that the airbag pressure sensor could be installed.

Was a big chore to install the pressure sensor, not sure I would recommend a seat swap for anyone with the air bag sensor later than the key setup.

To install the seatbelt used the existing explorer seatbelt mount that installed in the floor, had to extend it though and connected it to the bolt for the center seatbelt.

Here's the finished installation, I need to recover the armrest to go better with the seats looks a bit odd. Couldn't really find a grey trim paint that went with the seats, they were either too lite or bluish. If anyone has one to recommend that matched well let me know.
