| | Door Ajar Light
All of the doors in my truck are closed and the light keeps coming on sayin that they are open. Does anyone know how to disconnect the door ajar light and also the seatbelt lights too.

What i use was some Freeze Off. And sprayed it in the latches like said above. Because my light would not go off even when i shut the door. I had to remove the fuse to make it go off. Once i did that i never had that problem again!

I had the same problem... did the wd 40 thing, helped for a day... or two... then I got mad and got a couple latches from junked trucks at the Junk yard.... both off low mile trucks installed on, and kept the other on hand... solved the problem... so if the wd 40 doesn't work... the latch is a good idea.... to check which latch is causin the problem open all your doors and use a screwdrive to close all the latches... then go through and jiggle the latch with your screw driver...... WATCH THE PAINT...... you will be able to figure which latch is havin the problem the replace or clean or wd 40 it... mine was the lower latch on the back door....

I usually have the problem with my interior lights not wanting to go on while the doors are open, which 99.9% of the time is after being out in the desert beating on the truck. Once i spray the latches down and slam the door a few times it is fixed.

The wd40 method worked for me. Took a few applications, and a couple of days though.

If the WD-40 seems like it's not working, you need to slam the door harder. give it all you got haha it will go away
