I have dual tanks in my 88, both tanks read on the stock gauge. I bought the truck used and the gas gauge have never worked. Electrical issues are not my forte and I try to defer to people that understand those issues. Short of dropping the tanks, which isn't an option right now, is there an easy way to figure out if the tank sending units are bad or if there is a short in the wiring? I have a hard time believing that both sending units would go bad at the same time.
