First and foremost I would like to say the interior is a long way from being done I just did the dash and door panels last night. I am going to be finishing the rest of the interior panels black and I'm getting brand new black carpet and a brand new graphite (gray) headliner. I figure I would have everything black but keep the headliner, sun visors, OHC and mustang dome all stock color.

This is the only paint I recommend using. I hear a lot of talk regarding Krylon Fusion. SEM's is a professional automotive interior paint with a very nice looking and feeling factory finish something Krylon can't achieve.

Yeah I agree it does look grayish and yes I will be painting the console. I encourage you to paint yours but use SEM's paint you will not regret it.

Hardly any over spray, about 2-3 inches on the windshield from the dash. If you use the paint I did then it is dry to the touch in literally 3-4 minutes and you can start installing it within an hour.
