Ok, I know this might be an odd concern since most people complain about the door chime not shutting off. But I thought the passenger door chime would sound if the key was in the ignition, and turned to the on position if the passenger door was open. Today I noticed it does not sound, but the dome light still goes on/off when the door is open/closed. So I'm thinking the sensor works, but for some reason the chime does not.

The reason I'm concerned is I recently installed rear speakers and had to modify a plug under the driver's seat. I'm hoping I didn't mess up a wire under there somewhere is all.

I remember being annoyed when testing out something with the radio and having the passenger door open and the chime sounding.

Was it my imagination? Or is there some other reason/wire this might be broke now?

I dont think there is a chime for the passenger door. I cant recall ever hearing one.

Only the drivers door chimes. Its that way on every vehicle ive been in so far

Bigfisher u stole my agitation...lmao...but yeah no chime on passanger door...lol I usually hunt the annoying lil fuckers down n dis connect them as soon as I get a vehicle...hate those things
