im guessing the tracks/brackets may have been warped some how. maybe even my floor pan. but they are in... pics on page 1 of thread.

So are there any direct swap seats for a '96 reg cab? From what I am reading here, only for ext cabs.

2.3l 4cyl with over 200,000 miles on it.
K&N oil filter
Royal Purple engine oil, tranny oil, and gear oil, K&N air filter, no air box snorkle and opened entrance hole to air box, removed muffler from intake, coil pack firing order mod, and gas pedal cable mod..

they will bolt to your current seat tracks. so yes, a direct swap. don't worry about finding any that have power (front back, up down) as you won't be able to use the explorer power tracks. this is for 97 and older reg cab only.

Which explorer seats/center console would direct swap into a manual 99 regular cab? thanks, i can't seem to find this info anywhere!

none will really swap directly in a 98+ reg cab. it takes a set of seat tracks form a 93-7 reg cab (which will bolt directly to the expo seats), and possibly a little modification to get the tracks in the 98+ truck. doable, and not really hard, but you have to get the right parts lined up.

Will the seats from a 04 Explorer, work in a 95 ranger, Ext. cab?

Or will the seats be able to bolt to the tracks on the ranger?
Will the 2nd row seats work also? They would be in better shape if they would.

Second row seats will not work, the Ranger has sideway-facing jump seats.
I was at my local pick a part today and saw some really nice seats inside a Ford Escape. Might go back there to measure and then replace my Explorer seats.
