Default What is under this cloth panel?

This cloth on the inside of the doors look fine, at least the one on the passenger side. The problem is that the drivers side isn't so pretty, from resting my arm on it for 17 years. Does anyone know if there is a regular panel under the cloth that I could paint after I remove the cloth, or do I need to head to the junk yard?

Junk yard.

Technically you could reupholster it, but you'd have to find something that matched or redo everything in the truck that has that material.

Thanks. I don't think I'm going to keep it cloth. I'll see what I can find to paint. Easier to clean. BTW, it looks to be in better shape in that picture than what it is.

Yeah your best bet is to go to the junkyard and check it out, hopefully they don't leave the windows open at your local yard like they do at mine. Your door panel looks similar to mine so maybe you could throw in a whole new panel but you will have to do more research as to what years will fit though because im not positive its the same. I got somebody a set of door panels for 40 bucks at the junkyard so maybe you'll luck out and pick some up cheap as well.

Good luck.
