Which Seats Should I get?
Hey i was wondering what seats people have switched out in their trucks? And what seems to be the most comfortable? I have a 98 ext. cab 4x4 and was wondering what seat is the easiest to install that can just be switched out, without any modding to the metal frames for them. What do you guys think about 01 Grand cherokee leather buckets. BTW im looking for some leather buckets. Thanks.

i just finished installing 97 expo seats in mine, the only thing you have to switch is the little tract that the seatbelt is hooked to, 2 10mm bolts and its done.

I happen to find 02-03 Bucket w/ lumbar and extra bolstering in cloth to be the most comfortable. Unfortunately they are pretty rare and mostly only came on the 02 Fx4 and 03 Level II. I can never get comfy on expos.....or anything leather pretty much. Dunno why. Maybe it's the fact i'm normally the passenger on 'em and not the driver. lol.
Here's mine...'03 Fx4 Level II buckets. Both seats have lumbar support(manual)(really old pic. lol)
Another set thats almost as comfortable imo, is these 02 60/40's. Edge specific cloth, no lumbar. Bolstering isn't as firm as the ones above, but still very supportive on the back/love handles/ass.

Justin..find some 06-09 seats. They are more comfy and smaller size, but the same squared off styling. They aren't like sitting on a brick like 04-05 trucks. lol.

Hers go to the roof too huh? lol. I absolutely hated those square seats until I drove Marie's '08. My biggest complaint before was the lack of seeing anything out the back when you turn your head. That and just how absolutely huge they were. lol.

How about '94's? Would it be difficult to swap out for leather expo buckets? How about the center console? Just curious
My armrest broke right off and I have been "not caring" about it for quite some time. that is untill i went on a long road trip. Needless to say the armrest is there for a reason... lol. I tried re-tightening the ONE bracket that holds the armrest/ cubby in place but to no suprise it rebroke. It seems as if the old armrest got up and walked out of my garage b/c i cant find it.
what should i do fix armrest or should i just go get a new expo seats
N e advice would be apprecaited

do the 60/40 conversion to buckets, i'm assuming you have a bench, and then add in the expo center console. its not too hard and theres tons of info on it that can be found on a lot of sites
