Default adjusting gear indicator

while replacing my stock lights with led lights behind my cluster the part that tells you what gear you are in has moved about a whole gear. for exmaple it says i am in reverse when i am in park. how do i move it back so that it says the correct gear?

From what I hear, the adjusters are prone to break, you fixed the problem with the zip tie mod, just like the throttle cable mod. Zip ties and duct tape, never leave home without them.

Thank goodness for this thread. I had no idea why my indicator always sits on the one. I looked under and found that it was broke off.
I'm having trouble getting under and through to it to repair it. Does anyone know what procedure I need to go through to take off the panels in order to better reach it?

no you have to get to the bottom of the cluster which you have to take the cluster bezel out which is the last piece of trim you remove
