Re: adjusting gear indicator
mine refuses to move no matter which way i turn the knob. does this mean i have to get a new one? if i pull on the cable than the indicator moves back to place but doesent move with the knob. if so does anyone have idea on how much it will be and where i can get one?

Re: adjusting gear indicator
From what I hear, the adjusters are prone to break, you fixed the problem with the zip tie mod, just like the throttle cable mod. Zip ties and duct tape, never leave home without them.

Thank goodness for this thread. I had no idea why my indicator always sits on the one. I looked under and found that it was broke off.
I'm having trouble getting under and through to it to repair it. Does anyone know what procedure I need to go through to take off the panels in order to better reach it?

Re: adjusting gear indicator
no you have to get to the bottom of the cluster which you have to take the cluster bezel out which is the last piece of trim you remove
