Question Oh me, oh my! How do I get that window in?!

My window had been busted out last week, and I finally was able to go and salvage one yesterday. Taking out what was needed was no problem, there was no glass. Getting the replacement glass out of it's original Ranger was no problem, I was able to take a scrap of wooden block and bend the door's metal to pull the window without messing anything up on it. Now, I've got to put it into my door, which is proving to be harder than I wanted it to be. Really, the only thing I'm looking for out of the Ranger Forum this time is getting the bottom of the glass into place before I break or bend anything. Help me pleeeeease??

NOTE:I know that one way would be to drill out the rivets at the bottom and replace with either new rivets or 1" bolts w/ locking nuts, but I'm curious as to if there is any other way to get the window in that any of you have tried or heard of. Comments? Feedback, please??

Those two little strips that would be at the bottom of window while it's in, are they out?

You really should just drill the rivets and take it off. Wouldn't of had to take door apart. Could've just dropped it in and bolted to old slide.

I realized that after I had already taken the door off, lol. This is the first time I've put in a window like this. Last time was a manual crank window in an '84 camaro z28 almost 2 years ago.

Thanks for the help! Even if it was just telling me to go ahead and drill out the rivets, I like the 2nd opinion ideal :3
