Default water temperature gauge
hi everybody

the water temperature gauge on my 69 ranger xlt 3.0 is not working. i replaced the water temperature sensor for the gauge (not the one for the computer), but still nothing.

my question: can i replace just the gauge in the instrument cluster or do i have to get a complete instrument cluster?

I would check the wiring for the gauge before I actually replaced anything. I've never really seen or heard of anyone who actually had the gauge itself go bad except for in a friend's Silver where someone had obviously scraped some of the gold conduit on the back of the circuit board for it.
