Default HELP with MIRROR

I recently installed this auto dim mirror from a 99 explorer
But what I really want is to get auto headlights to my 99 ranger.

Can anyone please help me out with the splicing and wiring?
I've already followed the how-tos but they just confuse me hardcore.

I made a extension for the headlight harness so i wouldn't splice into the harness. Since I read other people messed up splicing there harness and need to rewire that sectiong. I provided pictures with the installing it. Run ground and constant power back to the dome light.
Then run the other two wires down the b-pillar(exclude purple wire) and then attach to relays underneath the switch. If you need pictures of the relays and location i can provide you pictures with them.
Also if you are interested in the plug and play wiring harness, ill be making two harness and will be selling them (include plug from headlight harness to headlight switch and splice to relays, also relays included if needed).

Thanks but I got it all wired up yesterday. Only thing that sucked is my timer seemed to not work. So I went ahead and spliced a wire from the ignition so once I killed the vehicle so did the lights.

What I did was since I didn't wanna take another long cable from the OHC I took out the radio disconnected the plug. Then with a test light I checked each pin to see which one turns the test light on with the key(or volt meter). There is one that's hot. Another is hot on run (((which is the the one you want))) and the rest are for the speakers and probably one for ground.

WHAT YOU WANT TO DO:
(((Splice that hot in run wire with a third wire forming a Y use a butt connector and run it down to where your relays are at. Twist the tips with another wire that's about 2 1/2 inch long. Use quick disconnect and plug it to pin 86 of the parking lamp. Add a quick disconnect to the other end of the 2 1/2 inch wire and plug it into pin 86 of the head lamp relay. And your done)))

I followed this diagram:

I went again an terminated the wire that goes from pin 30 of the parking lamps to pin 86 of the headlamp. And vooala. Which is basically all the same as this diagram:
