Mine used to leak at the 3rd brake light...
I got fed up & ran a bead of clear silicone where the foam was & sealed mine to the cab, no more leaks. It's gonna be a PITA when I have to take it off, but the silicone is cheap & easy fix.

I've just come back from a trip Thursday night. We had a lot of rain recently (over 7 inches in parts of NJ over the past couple of days).

My Ranger was sitting in the driveway the whole time & when I went to check on it this morning, there's a puddle on the driver's floorboard. I've got the rubber matting instead of carpeting on the floor, so I'm guessing the water is easier to spot than if I had carpeting (it doesn't get soaked up by the fabric of the carpet), but the insulation underneath the mat was soaked.

I pulled up the driver's side of the mat as much as I could with the seats & console still in place & had a household fan blowing on it all afternoon, but it's still damp under there. I'm afraid that I'll have to pull the seats & console out to do a proper job of airing it out, but I'm leaving on another trip tomorrow & won't be able to do anything until a week from tomorrow.

It looks to me as though the leak is coming from the driver's door seal (this is a 2005 2 door extended cab). I pulled a bit of the door seal out & forward of the split in the the seal at the bottom of the door opening, it was wet & you can see a lot of debris that has been washed in there . Aft of the seal split, it is clean & dry.

Has anyone replaced the driver's door seal on a 2 door extended cab? It looks like it shouldn't be too bad, but maybe time consuming considering all of the trim that has to be removed. Does anyone know how much the door seal goes for? Is there another source other than Ford for the seal?
