So, I am working right now on my HVAC controls and am going to throw some transparent paint on them. But, for the guages, should I go with LEDs and no light filter? Or, will paint and incadecents look good? I believe I have the skills to solder up my own LEDs.
I am wondering how well the glass paint will match the LEDs in the vents, foot wells and glove box that I want to put in. I am also hoping that this will more or less match the red on my headunit.
Anyone think it will? Or any advice on how to make it match?

I just threw blue LED's in my hvac and it looks fine.

Was it hard to do?
I see guides on how to do it. but it looks very confusing reading them.

Yeah, I seen the guide in the how to section! Just never followed it..
Yeah rite now i have LEDs the driver and passenger foot pedals and in the air vents!
It looks very nice and very bright blue.. I should take some pictures of the work i did.. But if i do the control that will look sick to go along with it
