6'3" here

96 reg cab the seat has to be 1 notch up from all the way back and tilted all the way back.....its like driving a go-cart

my 85 and 87 reg cabs....had to have buckets custom installed because the wheel hit my legs with the factory bench

i drove the 85 for 2 weeks with no seats and i still fit comfortably

Thanks
Hey brother,

I am 6'5, just bought a brand new '11 XLT and I love it. You know, being a tall guy that a lot of smaller cars and trucks won't be extremely comfortable, but within the first month I drove about 400 miles in it (200 each way) and it was just fine for me. I do put the seat all the way back and lean the seat back a couple notches but overall I'd say that it is fun and easy to drive. I also drive a manual, and getting to the clutch pedal is a breeze. Let me know if you have any other questions. I think one of my pictures has the interior with the seat all the way back. Check them out.

i'm 6"4, legs are long as hell, lol, and suprisingly fit comfertrably in my '00 regular cab, with the seat all the way back. thank god for the extra 3" of cab space they added in '98, lol. i'd still love to have an extended cab so that i could actually streatch out if i wanted to.

i remember my dad bitching about his '94 B-series being cramped when he had that, and he's a little guy, so i'd definitly say the older trucks are a much tighter fit.

^ Yup Im 6'1 and am so thankful i got a 98+ regular cab instead of the 93-97 reg cabs which have 3 less inches of leg room. but I still think it sucks I cant stretch all the way out in my truck. Just 2 more inches and it would be so much better
