The needles were actually easier to calibrate than i thought. For the speedo try to spin the needle all the way around clockwise until u get to the stopper than lift it over, from there it should sit at zero and should work perfectly

Yeah we'll what I did was use white LEDs than your going to have to figure out a way to paint the back red or use filters over the stuff u want red. If u use red paint just mask off what u want to be white for example needles, rpms, gas symbols etc..

This is what I decided to do instead of the LEDs. Yes it's cheap and looks OK, but I like this look much better...no cluster swap needed either

So there is no way I can do red and white like how people did blue and white without painting the cluster face? Or it will just have to be all red or all white

Don't stress about it, it's really easy..just warm up your truck, take a picture of where the needles need to go and proceed to remove them. But if you're going to do the whole AA battery calibration thing do that first before you take out the needle. But like you said you can see how fast you're going with your smart phone. . Get a buddy and find empty straight road and place the needle in the right place according to your phone. That's what I did but with a gps.

I was in the same boat as you are in. I was super nervous to take the needles off as well as re calibrate the needles. But I got it to work by using a GPS and going about 45-50 mph on a straight away road. A few weeks ago I had to replace my needles and I did the same process as before and boy did it bring back memories lol.

Finished Product:

Orange and white. That would really stand out and I have yet to see anyone with that color scheme.

I think that would look cool. Or orange numbers and white lines. But I think white numbers would be best because you would see them better at night. Lines are just lines
