I understand the Tach-in-the-Dash OEM isnít bad looking and you can get colored faces to replace the OEM stuff too but think about it first.
There are a lot of people going to the Tach-in-the-Dash setups and you will just be doing something everyone else is.
Look into a separate Tach, maybe mount it on the dash in the left corner, maybe mount it in the middle of the dash, your call on that one, maybe mount it by the shifter somewhere.

Think outside the box before doing the same thing the same thing.

I for one am replacing my Tach-in-the-Dash with a cluster without a Tach and putting the Tach on the left hand side of the Dash.

There are a lot of Cup mounted Tachometers out there, the old stand-bys ďSunĒ there is AutoMeter, they have all kinds of models, sizes, etc, and there is SW, another old fav.
It will depend on how much you have/want to spend.

donít get me wrong, the Tach-in-the-Dash is nice and a Silver Faced Unit is nice or maybe a black faced red numerals unit that would look good but think it out before jumping into it.

Luck

There are How-To’s on changing the Odometers to fix that.
Look around for How-To’s.

Sounds good, I rode the same thing in a ’95 but without the tunes for a few years, couldn’t take the 2 Wd so I switched up. Actually I would still be driving it but the ’03 came along with 25K Mile, 5-sp, 3.0L, 4x4, I had to say yes.

From what I have been told, I do not know myself for sure, but in ’95 the Gauge Cluster changed.
I am not sure if there is much out there for OEM or not that will fit.
There should be after market though, new gauge faces and the such.

The truck should look great with new seats (buckets if you can with shorty center console) and the other changes you want to make.

Gook Luck with the project.
