does anyone know if a door from a 2001 is the same as the one from a 99? cuz i got doors from a 96, but the interior panels are different. so are the panels the same for 01 as they are for 99?

I believe all 98+ doors are the same regardless of cab configuration. Just the door panels are what's changed throughout the trim packages and the mirror mount changed a little on 06+ models.



all 93+ ranger door panels are interchangeable. Though some require a little mounting bracket 'L' to mount the panel.

98+ there are three different style door panels.

1: all plastic, manual, no map pocket(requires that L bracket). Found in XL and Edge/Sport trucks(no power options)

2 and 3: all plastic with cloth or vinyl accents, manual or power, map pocket. Looks alot nicer and found in XLT trucks or Edges with power options. Later models(03+) have black cloth above the armrest.
