how do i take the vents out?

I would like to know how you put the neons in the vents and also how to i take the vents out to paint them like you did?
Anyone can help thanks

Well, its easier to show than it is to tell so tomorrow I will try to take some pics to help out with describing it...

Just a breakdown of it:

The passenger vent- pops right out. Put a 3 inch strip in the vent to where you see the glow when the vent is open and closed. The strip just sticks to the side of the vent housing. Run the wires down through the dash to wherever you will have them wired up.

The driver's side- you have to take the whole piece out that that vent is attached to. Once you get that piece out its the same process as the passenger side with the sticking of the strip and wiring through the dash.

The center- you will have to take off the 2 screws to get that center bezel off completly. When you get it off look straight back in the vents of the truck. You will see there is a flat backing before the tunnel goes straight down. I stuck two 3 inch led strips on that very back part, wired them through, and then put the bezel back on.

Thats the basic breakdown of vent LEDs. Hopefully ill get off work at a decent hour tomorrow so I can take sme pics to add to this.
