Question what year/trim will it be in?
i am wanting to take out my old nasty gray carpet and put in the full rubber floor mat. i just dont know where to start looking year/trim. went to the junk yard and all the rangers they had only had the carpet. im thinking that ford only put the rubber in the edge model but just not sure.

yea the xls have it, the edges and if i remember even some of the fx4s had it

FX4's didn't come with rubber floor all the 4wd trucks come with carpet

I had a friend that bought a 2002 XLT 4x4 Off Road used that must have been custom ordered from Ford because it had a rubber floor.

Friend of mines mom has an 03 or o4 Edge 4x4 and its got the vinyl floor..

All 06+ FX4's come with vinyl. Ford said it was easier to clean mud out.

Why didnt they do that before on the 4wd trucks.

My truck has the vinyl floor and I love it. Easier to clean then carpet.

Not sure, I have 4wd but prefer carpet. I keep a spare set of rubber mats in the back in case my boots are dirty. Also use them all winter.

I saw a rubber floor in a 93-97 single cab ranger at the junkyard once... until that point I thought they only came in 01+ rangers
