Brought 1 seat home last night (gotta redo the ****ing tint on one of my windows because the seat ripped it around a corner). Didn't get much done because it was already getting dark. This is going to be a slow process because of school.
I cut the rivets off the front of the seat track and then blasted them down with an air hammer. The reason I was wearing the welding helmet is because I was using safety glasses and was getting nailed with sparks haha (it was set to grid mode so it didn't dim)
If you don't know, they're 2006 ford fusion seats. Drivers side is heated with power and manual lumbar and passengers seat is just manual but does have heat. I have seat mounts for a ranger that were shipped to me from another ranger guy that i know, they'll be getting welded on soon
starting on first bracket
Head gone already on the first bracket
punched out
other side done
And this is how it will sit til i have some time later in the week lol
