This is the first time I have been on this forum. I just recently bought a 2000 Rager XLT 4x4 and have had some problems with it. The door lock switches are bad so back in July I took it to the small dealership where I bought the truck to have them fix it. To make a long story short I got the truck back and it was in theft mode. The horn would honk when I hit the keypad to lock the doors and the remote start would no longer work. So I took it back and they had some guy they knew mess with it. He said it was a "Code" alarm but he had a very hard time getting it to work. He had to push the buttons on the keypad a certain way while messing with the ignition switch. He ended up gettting it to work, but couldn't remember how to fix it if it happened again.

So today I have to take the door apart to fix the door lock actuator and it happened again. I do not have access to they guy who fixed it by trial and error the first time. I was just wondering if anyone on here had a clue how to help me.

"Code Alarm" is the brand of the alarm system. It is aftermarket usually sold in car stereo shops. If you can find the actual unit under the steering wheel area you may be able to see the model number. Once you have this you can look up the programming instructions or perhaps call the manufacturer. But if you have a stereo shop in the area they should be able to help.
