I cleaned mine with rubbing alcohol

The adhesion promoter is just what the name says helps paint stick to a surface. Look at walmart or autoparts store

Hey Mykhael, did you take a bunch of dash pieces out and paint them or take some out and leave some in? Just curious to what was easy for you and all. Any clearcoat go on yours also?

I took out everything that was possible to come out

So basically it was a shell of the dash left.

No clear coat. I saw one with clear coat and when the sun was shinning on it was very blinding to me

Now I know with a lot of spray painting jobs on dash like pieces, chipping and scratching off of paint is extremly easy to do on accident. Have an problems with that. I personally plan to do all black with yellow accents. And did you make the ceiling in the cab black too?

I took all the pieces out but I also painted them. So everything is painted.

Scratching and paint coming off is why you use the adhesion promoter.

Ive been able to get all of the dash pieces out except the main piece on top and the airbag cover before. I know how to get the airbag cover off now but I thought I heard you have to drop the steering column to get the main piece off.

Ya you have to pull the steering wheel to remove the whole dash which requires a special tool

I didn't remove the whole dash just pieces off it and left it in there and painted it
