I have a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge that has the wiring for the cruise control pre-wired, and was wondering if the clock spring needs to be changed to add the modules to get the cruise control.

Im about to do this in my 96... soon

Ive been searching for a while; my truck has the connector on the engine bay (passenger side) but I dont know if the rest of the installation under the dash is there (i have to check). I gues it is, cause if not only half of the wiring is there, I guess its everything prewires or nothing... :s

And yes, you should replase the clockspring. Search for one which has the CC wires.
