I'm trying to install a custom subwoofer box and I've noticed a "bump" in the carpet behind the driver's seat. I puller the carpet up and descovered that there is no support for the bump, it is just stiff carpet. Stiff enough to be anoying and in the way of my box, but soft enough to give under my hand pressure. I want to remove it, but don't know where to start. Help?

PS, put the sub behind the passenger seat! Screw them out of leg room, not yourself!

Cut it with what? I tried an exacto knife... not even close to being strong enough.
