Default manual window cranks

anyone know how the crank handles come off an '04 base model ranger? the old ones i had had a cover with a torx screw in the handle you took out but i don't see how this one comes off. i got a set of power mirrors i was gonna swap out but can't get the inner door panel off till i get the crank off.

and before anyone comments i know the truck's not wired for the power mirrors and i'm not running the wires till later. if i do at all i just want the upgraded mirror

They come off the same way there is a cover you pull up on and then there is a torx screw back there

Where the red arrow is stick a flat head screw driver under the window crank you will fill a little lip pull up and the cover pops off then the torx bit is in there

thanks when i was at the local pic-n-pull today i felt like a little kid in a candy store they had just gotten a new shipment in. there must have been 9-10 explorers and the section of rangers had grown from crashes for some reason the pickings were worth the 25 minute drive plus

I think we've got the first FRF inside joke! Parts Vultures!

Yeah...questions already been answered. So I got nothing to add other than HOLY CRAP the amount of explorers that were C4C'd at my locals yards is absolutely amazing. One yard has probably near 35 Expos. Too bad I don't have a use for ANYTHING off of them! (except those manual tcase ones).
