Steering wheel black crap

I think my steering wheel is leather wrapped but all this black stuff came off and got on my hands like rubber or whatever how can i bring this worn steering wheel back to life? pics soon

go get a better one from the junk yard steering wheels are easy to swap out

Thats too much work and money plus our junkyards dont have sh*t around here lol I have the cruise control and all the crab plus airbag

yep still very easy. disconnect battery, two round covers on the sides about half dollar size, pop those out. then unbolt the 2 bolts thats your air bag unplug. those CC pods are held on by screws and the plug is seen after the air bag is off. after that its just a i wanna say t50 or t55 bolt holding the steering wheel on, and thats it. takes less then 10 min to swap steering wheels so if you find a better condition one swap it out. steering wheel with no air bag is about $10 usually at junk yard...

your leather is falling apart. you can untie the leather then it will just be a normal steering wheel that came on standard trucks

i might take the leather off gonna see if i can posibly clean it its not torn or anything

unless you get new leather its gonna always peel a little like that, mine does it too.

go to autozone and get a steering wheel cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mine did the same thing. 10 bucks, 30 seconds.

true he seems resistant.

i was lucky and the guy before always had a steering wheel cover so my leather wrapped is like brand new lol

I had a cover on my probe cause the wheel was completely F*cked but I might get a cover for this just to keep the crud of my hands but i'll probably take the leather off before putting a cover on. I never liked the covers. right now i dont even have the money to buy a cover though work isnt giving me any hours and what hours i get goes to truck payment and tips go to gas so yeah... TIME FOR FULL TIME JOB!!!

I too HATE steerling wheel covers with a passion. they look cheap and tacky
