Default Charger outlet help

The cig lighter/charger port on the right hand side of my radio bezel does not work.

Any of you experienced this? Worst case I guess I will have to replace the socket itself, right?

I think this forum should have an option for one of the little smiley things that you can add to a post that says "check the fuse"

Check the fuse first. If it's good, check the connections behind the radio bezel. If memory serves, there are two screws under the radio and the rest is just clips that hold the rest in place.

Its either the fuse, or the ground wire to the little metal piece on the backside of the bezel behind the charger is not connected.
