Hi pals, I found this center console arm rest at eBay:

the thing is that this guy says its "opal grey" and that the interior trim code should end in "6". My truck is "E2" interior trim which is "medium graphite grey" (E for 60/40 bench seats and 2 for graphite cloth). I double checked and theres no code ending in 6 for 95, 96 and 97 trucks, the colours available are blue, grey (like mine) and tan.

So... is this the right color trm for my truck? Unfortunately this guy answers where not direct and I want to be 100% sure. Thanks to everyone in advance!!!

Its real close, looks like its almost new. I say do it if it in like new shape dude

The guy says its brand new... is still has the box and plastic bag. But im not totaly convinced about the colour... i dont know if its the same gray as my interior...

what do you think pal????

For the sake of it being brand new I would do it. It is a close match, even if its off color it isnt too bad off and ya really wont see it that much cause you sit right next to it. Its not like you would be putting tan in with the grey

Maybe disasemble both console and exchange upholstry?

instead of swapping, just have it re-upholstered to match

Its no so hard... the first week I got my truck i totaly dissasembled that console, even though I have clumsy fingers I could do it!
Lets see what this guy tell me...

don't think it's the grey that was used. in his ad, it says that it will fit 95-7, which is true, but the color will not match. there are four colors that i know of for gen 3 interiors. blue (which that looks like), grey, a green, and tan.

I think Ill check the colour when I recieve it... 75 bucks for a brand new console sounds like a nice deal to me, and shipping was only $40!!!

Yeah just have in redone in black so you wont have to worry about matching it up

except it will cost him an arm and leg to ship it from to Uruguay, back to the US, then back to uruguay again. i would just swap with the one he has, plus he's said he's already taken it apart once before.

yeap, thats the problem, 6000 miles between me and Troy.

Its really easy to take this appart... just 4 screws hiden under the bottom fabric (offcourse, you have to destroy that fabric and remake it).

I still think its the same trim colour... if not Ill exchange them.

I found this ver very cheap... to cheap for a brand new oem arm rest if you ask me...
