Default A little bit of an OHC problem...

So I was feeling adventurous trying to string some wires for my auto-dim mirror.

I took the whole wiring harness from the junkyard for the auto-dim and OHC (already have OHC installed) I butt-connected the wires from the new harness to the old harness matching up wire to wire.

The Blue/Red wire on my harness was in the same place as a Red/Black wire on the connector so I tapped it thinking it was the same wire

Put everything back turned on my OHC and the temperature gauge says that it is -40 degrees F when its clearly 70.

advice/help??

-40 means temp sensor wires are not right

Temp sensor is blue white blue yellow and a straight shot to the sensor itself.... should be easy to diagnose...

Yes! All the others are right. For future reference for yourself, mark the wires so next time there arent any mistakes

so both of the wires are going clearly to the temp sensor, could i have the blue/yellow and blue/white wires the wrong way i assume? or should i be looking at something toward my console?

& lastly is the Blue/Red wire the exact same thing as the Red/Black wire?

(they were in the same spot on the connector when i switched the harnesses and i figured it wired the same)
