Gas card down the HVAC vent....
So yeah, I won a $100 gas card at a raffle and stuck it about half an inch between the driver's side vent and the housing above the radio. Seemed like a perfect place for it until it somehow got pushed into the vent and past the plastic shelf in the duct behind it. Still not quite sure how that happened. Anyway, it's in there. Any advice on where to start dismantling or guesses where it may have ended up would be appreciated. I gotta get that sucker in my tank....not to mention run the AC again. I've never pulled any dash parts/trim pieces before, so any hints as to where the clips or other hidden fasteners are would be sweeet....
Thanks....

there are two screws located between the radio and the hvac control panel. 7mm iirc.

you're supposed to have two screws holding your bezel to the dash plus the clips on the edges. the screws are right above the hvac controls

the screws are on the radio bezel. can't take it off without taking them out. unless you are just removing the vents, but those come out from the back.

Re: Gas card down the HVAC vent....
in my teens i was riding with a freind to school, he turned the heat on and i saw movement by my feet, i looked down and saw a huge ass joint flying across the floormat, i was like WTF ????
he said about a year earlier he laid it on the dash of his galaxy 500
(yeah, it was that long ago)
and it rolled into the defrost vent, finally worked it's way down and out, he was a happy somna bitch that day.
