Back door problem..
Hey guys, first time poster and I got a little bit of a problem on my hands. I have an 02 4WD Ranger, and for some reason the back door on the passanger side seems to never fully latch properly. So everytime I turn left, the "door ajar" signs pops up..Any ideas on how to solve this?
Thanks.

i seem to have the same problem. don't really think its a real fix, but on mine as long as i close pretty hard and solid (almost slam it) it seems to fix it.

oh yes...the ever so common 'gotta slam the rear doors' on the ford ranger. Totally normal. I'm not kidding either.

Same here...right side rear needs a good solid push. It doesn't bother me any more, it's just a habit now to slam it.

Every so often, my back doors will randomly misbehave. Sometimes I have to slam it hard and the plastic cap covering the top bolt of the seatbelt will go flying.

I've never had to slam it in the rear before. Try some lubricant and report back.

Pull up and toward you to remove panel. Once the panel is off pull the little plastic deals off the door and put them back on the panel makes install easier.

See, just using the front door never fails, and you usually don't even need lubricant.
