Re: Painted Radio Bezel and Door Handle...things
im sure you could find a color scheme to make it look good. im gonna paint more panels like the fuse box, glovebox, and the plastic peice that wraps around the speedo so it doesnt look as dorky haha

Re: Painted Radio Bezel and Door Handle...things
Looks pretty good. When you get ready to paint your air bag cover, don't remove it. You can't cause I already tried and f***ed up. Tape it off. And you can actually remove the glove box door. You have to open it and push the sides of the box inward to flip it all the way out. Then there is 4 or five bolts I believe it's a 8mm or 10mm. Unbolt those and it will come off.

i was actually just about to ask about that. i plan on doing the glove box, fuse box cover and the piece that wraps around the gauge cluster. all of my interior bolts have been 8mm so far. has any one noticed that the bolts to take off the cover to get to the headlights are 5.5mm? wicked wierd size

Re: Painted Radio Bezel and Door Handle...things
If you ever want it done by a professional for cheaper you could buy a pint of dupont paint for 20 bucks and do the prep work yourself. Then just take the parts and paint to them and they'd to it for like 40 bucks. Primer and clear doesnt come in small cans but you can buy small amounts of paint.

Re: Painted Radio Bezel and Door Handle...things
wow they turned out pretty good man I did mine as while back ago.
I find that the RUST-OLEUM car enamel spray paint from Lowes works amazing.
They have Primer, Actual paint, than the Clearcoat it works really good and the clearcoat protects it from scratches and what not. Check mines out if you want.
