Factory Radio Removal help
So first I made my own removal tool out of hangers, then after those didn't work I spent the 3.60 I had on the official tool, but those arent working (I think they're going to far in) Is there another way to remove the factory radio?

Re: Factory Radio Removal help
Remove the radio bezel and see if there are any bolts. In my explorer, the radio was bolted in with brackets. Good luck.

Re: Factory Radio Removal help
Get a butter knife and slide it into the slot to pop it out. After you remove the radio bezel from the dash.

Re: Factory Radio Removal help
Hammer works great! Use the 10lb sledge works the first time everytime! But when we put in my aftermarket radio my friend had to reach thought the glovebox to help slide it in lol. We didn't think about taking the glove box out.

Re: Factory Radio Removal help
Step 1: Remove radio bezel
Step 2: Press on the side of the headunit and push the headunit out the front of the bezel
Step 3: Install your new headunit
