Default OEM Faceplate for double din security

Clinton suggested i post this up on the forum so here it is!

Bought a OEM faceplace clinton was selling on here. Took apart the circuit board on the inside, it was just a few screws. Under that the buttons are still all held into place by a plastic grid. Stuck some velcro on both sides and now its like magic....

Now ya see it!

Now ya dont!

Might play with it a bit more sometime to get it sunk into the dash more. I think it will def serve its purpose just like it is now though.

Thank you my friend! I dont take credit for the idea though, have read and heard about it being done before i did it. This should be a good reference for anyone wanting to do it though.

If I ever get a double din, which i prolly will never get because i turn music up and down to much while drive to have a full touchscreen, I'm getting this:.

Ober simple, not-worth-stealing-if-it-was-sitting-in-the-bed-of-the-truck-in-plain-view-radio as a cover.

I know exactly what you mean, thankfully my pioneer still has good old fashioned buttons for track and volume on the bottom. I still find myself always using the remote though, way easier.
