phone mount idea - fail
In my ranger, I've got the rubber/vinyl floor, and I needed a mount for my phone. I decided that I would buy one of these off of ebay, and see if it would stick to the floor. I figured it wouldn't and I was right!
Anyways, I wondered, if I cut the floor and got to the metal of the truck, would the suction stick to that, or maybe I could glue it to that. Anyone have other ideas?

Re: phone mount idea - fail
I wouldnt bother with that man. If your phone is a smaller type, get a body glove case with a clip and just clip it to the visor.

x2 on what Clinton said, no reason to go cutting up your flooring just to get a new phone and new cradle in a year or so...

Either hang it from the visor, or get one of those window mounts.

Windows are great and those "Sticky pads" work well on your dash!
Just stick it and place your phone on top...it won't move!

Not a big fan of the windsheild. That's why I was trying to stick it somewhere else.
And can't stick it on the visor. It's a touch screen thing.
