Smile Replacement parts from LMC

New to this site and glad I found it. I have an 86 Ranger I would like to redo inside and out. I'm looking at LMC parts and equipment. Has anyone bought items from them and how did it work out. I need interior door panels and replacement dash cover. May replace the tailgate. No rust ,only small dings on the rest of the truck. Looking forward to fixing her back to like new condition. Thanks mike

I have and so has my brother. Small items are cool but they bend you over for shipping on large items. Try ebay for OEM parts first or post a wanted to buy thread in the classifieds here. There are alot of us who pick yards and sell items here

if you do by replacement panels keep this in mind...they are AFTERMARKET not Ford parts so they more than likely wont fit like ford parts would

LMC tailgates have a big tendency to bow in the middle. The sheet metal is on the thin side as well compared to OEM. As far as their interior panels, they're okay, but I don't expect them to do too well with temp changes. If you're an absolute stickler for originality, then you'll find the aftermarket door panels and such have quite a few differences from the factory parts. But if you don't care about originality, then you should be fine.

Thanks Shaun, I am very picky about correct parts and originality. I figure if it's worth doing it should be right. I would like to buy quality stuff and am willing to pay the extra $. I have driven this Ranger for 25 years and it's now time to give her some cosmetic surgery. It's a 1986 4x4 with the 2.3 and 5 speed manual trans. Thanks Mike
