it severely removes the roofs integrity. meaning, in a roll over, your trucks roof is going to crush in and quite possibly kill you.
You will not see more than a few rangers with actual power moon roofs.
It looks cool and all, but safety comes first
FORD WILL NOT INSTALL THEM *

i dont see why you couldnt beef up the roof supports so that its safe and has a moonroof, i mean look at f150s with and without sun roofs there must be more bracing on the ones with the sun roofs

I put a manual moon in my 95 back in 2000 and when it flipped the glass broke but the roof structure held and that was after it rolled three times down the hill. I don't think you need a roll cage just bc of the moon roof but I do suggest a roll cage if you plan on doing any wheeling with the possibility of ending up bottom up.

easy killer...all you need to do is add more bracing under the headliner on to the roof...seems every post you make is negative

the roof structure actually has very little to do with the strength of the cab during a roll over and there are no large roof members that are where a sunroof would go. the doors and pillars are what protects the occupants during a roll over. adding a moonroof/ sunroof will not weaken the integrity of the cab at all.
