Default adding simple power locks

hey guys i have an 08 XL with standard locks.

I can get a remote unlock setup for 29 bucks, and can get a door lock actuator off ebay or a junk yard.

i dont need a button on the inside of the cab, just the ability to remote lock/unlock.

does anyone know what else itll take to make this work or if someone has done this before??

thanks everyone!

I bought a kit similar to this, installed it in about 2 hours in my manual-everything doors.

Everything you need is in there, including screws to hold the actuators in the doors, wiring, remotes, actuators, relays and a control module.

Rusty, is everything in the picture what comes included? I ask because I bought a kit from a different place that said it was just for power locks, but it came with this crazy control module that required setting up remote start anti theft and a bunch of other crap i dont want. All I want is power locks.

Also, is the wiring diagram good on this one? Is it easy to follow because the other one I tried was impossible to read.

Everything in that kit is all you need for power locks, and nothing else. The module can be programmed to control a garage door opener, but I didnt have to mess with that... power locks work like a charm.

Wiring instructions were not the easiest thing to read, but I figured it out in 5 minutes. It's not a diagram, it's all text (Blue wire is +12v, etc)

That's the one I got. The wiring diagram makes no sense and listed colors of wires that were not present in my kit. The people there were very unhelpful in getting it installed and it came with a second module that required me to hook up all kinds of other stuff I didn't want.
