Default A couple questions and an opinion

Ladies and gentleman!

As the driver of a 1997 B2300 standard cab I'm learning that the bench seat is not the most comfortable, and the lack of cup holders is lightly annoying! As such I'm in the market to replace my bench seat with a couple Explorer seats and a center console and here is my problem.

Should I go for cloth or leather?

If I do go for the nice leather seats and if I am lucky to get the heated variety, how do I go about wiring that up?

Should I rip out the full length center console from an Explorer or have one made / make one myself?

Will my manual fit with the Explorer console or will I have major problems?

How much should all of this cost me?

Any input would be awesome and if you have any experience please let me know, thanks!

just FYI only reg cab seats swap into reg cab trucks.

and ext cabs can all be swapped with ext cabs and also explorers can be swapped into ext cabs but not reg cabs.

if you dont find heated you can always add it for about $100 a seat

97 and older will swap mustang, explorer, etc regardless of reg cab/ext cab. however, if you have a solid bench in now, you will need to get reg cab seat tracks from buckets or a 60/40 from 93-97, maybe even older. you will also need to drill two holes per seat as well.

so if you look for explorer seats, don't even bother looking for power seats, you'll be swapping the tracks off and lose that option.
