They look mighty comfy!
I installed a set of Stang seats in my ranger as well
Function over form...they'll look much better after you reupholster them

Re: 92 Mustang seats installed in 04 FX4 today.
Yeah, I still have not gotten around to recovering them, but I will sometime this winter probably, or maybe fall. Just a truck to me, used for hardware runs and to pull the Mustang, so not a top priority. Comfort was the main swap reason and that end of it worked out as intended. With the crappy mpg from the truck, I drive a Saturn daily to work and back for the 30+ mpg. Most weeks, the truck never leaves the driveway.

Re: 92 Mustang seats installed in 04 FX4 today.
The console is not as good of quality as I hoped, but I will do some modifications to it and recover it too when I do get to the seats. I do like the amount of space that it offers, especially the hidden cooler for refreshing beverages. If worst comes to worst, I will use it as a pattern to make my own. I have wood and saws

Thanks. That is my baby. I have not 1/4'd it yet. End of August probably I will do some shake down runs and run it hard in Sept.
Dyno'd at 637rwhp and 573tq with belt slip on the blower and 10.5 afr. I have since fixed the slip issue and will lean out the fuel to 11.5-12.0 at the track, so it will be a bit more. Pics of it's progress since Dec when I bought it at : http://s119.photobucket.com/albums/o...stang/?start=0 It has came a long way in a short time.

I actually think I am going to do the Ranger seats in the same upholstrey that I did the Mustang. They have grown on me and then I will cover the console and door inserts in the same black vinyl.

Re: 92 Mustang seats installed in 04 FX4 today.
Ok, I am slow, but I finally ordered the upholstery for the Ranger today. I went with the Mach I, but instead of a red stripe, these will have a gray stripe.
Again working on getting my Mustang back together after many, many changes to it, but within a month I expect to get to the Ranger seats. I want to recover the console in black vinyl, but don't know if I will get to that at the same time or not.......depends on time when I get there.

Re: 92 Mustang seats installed in 04 FX4 today.
Took a break today on the Mustang modding and finally started on the Ranger seats. The lowers were rusted pretty badly, so I had to wire brush and paint them. I don't have time to recover the console at the moment, but should have the seats back in the truck tomorrow. Dusty in the garage cuz also prepping the Ranger cap for paint, so some dust on the seats already.

Thanks. That is my baby & my wife's nemesis.
It was 637rwhp/573#tq........wasn't enough. Have to keep out gunning these new cars and they are making it harder. Should be over 700rwhp with unGodly torque now. Went from TW170 heads to Fox Lake 207 TW race heads & port matched TF R intake, 3" full exhaust from 2.5", a progressive meth kit from a boost referenced one, upping the boost a couple-three lbs on the T trim, and took out the 5 speed in favor of a FB AOD with all the goodies, took out the Auburn Pro & 3.73 and put in a Detroit Locker & 3.55 with bracing, disc brakes, welded tubes and all that, and finally a tubular K member and A arms, so once back together off to Chi-town for a new tune. Pics are added all the time: http://s119.photobucket.com/albums/o...chley/Mustang/
That being said, seats are done and in truck. I actually like the way it all looks so leaving the console and door panels as is. Again, just a truck to me, and now it looks right in my eyes and is comfortable. Only took me a year to get to it......lol.
