Krylon Fusion FTW! You don't need to prime or any prep work what so ever. Simply apply the paint, let dry and your done! If you want better results, I suggest prepping it (sand and prime) then paint, wet sand, paint again, wet sand then clear coat I believe. I did something like that and got amazing results. Try that out. Good luck!

Awesome. I am still trying to decide on a color. I wanted to match the exterior(like a teal green) but I'm not having any luck with finding anything close to it. Any other ideas?

Fusion is all I use for plastics. I must have 50 cans in the garage now.

Just make sure to sand the surfaces down to 500+ grit, wash, dry, wash, dry & wipe down with rubbing alcohol & let dry before you paint.

I never use primer, the Fusion is made to chemically bond with plastic, so any primer would get in the way of the bond.

Spray several coats, wet sanding between coats... about 5 or 6 coats should have a good durable finish.

and then i would clear coat it with around 4-5 coats just to protect it from chipping... i know fusion bonds with the plastic but i have had a couple small chips that i need to fix....
