dome light door switch!

Dome light does not go off after closing door. Anyone know where the switch is that turns off the dome light after closing door? 96 ford ranger...

it's on the edge of the door inside the door were it latches to the door jam. spray wd-40 in there to clean out the dirt and see if it free's up and turns out the light there's a write up in the ho to forum on here i beleave.

sounds like the switch went south check out that link and it will explain how to get to it.
