Default Help removing shifter base, cup holder, other stuff

I can't seem to get these things off, I unscrewed the two bolts for the shifter base, is the next step to take off the whole shifter?

And this little knob for the window rollers, any ideas as to how to get it off?
needle nose pliers unsuccessful... Or do you think I can spray right onto the whole setup without it looking like crap?

The drink holder appears to snap in, however with some pretty hard pulling it won't come out, has anyone taken it out before?

I'm getting ready to paint all of these and more...
thanks!

lift up the edge of the shift boot and you'll see a screw in each corner. take shift knob off, slide the boot and console off as one.

window crank I dont think will come off and the arm rest holder same way

Just went out and tried on my seats in my 89 which are seats from a 1998 and have the same console

Use a flat head screw driver start on this side and push toward the passenger side

Then once the back kinda comes up put another flat head screw driver on the back side and push toward the dash

There is a little tab holding it in

To get the shifter bezel/cup holder of, you've got two choices:

1: the fit and finish route: lift up on bezel and remove shifter from transmission. You do this by taking the nut off the passenger side, putting on the drivers side and tightening it. It's a cam bolt, so eventually it'll be a loosey goose then it'll just come right off.

2: the other way: undo the boot from the 20 or so 'prongs' on the underside of the bezel/cupholder assy. Once that's done, the bezel/cupholder assy would just slide right up. BUT....when putting it all backtogether, is tricky and a pain and it won't ever be the same again. Hopefully you didn't mess any of those studs up or the boot.
