I've seen on here before where someone mentioned justgoing to redline to get the proper shifter boot for the explorer console but I really didn't feel like paying that much for a boot, I'm sure it's high quality but my wallet isn't. So I was at O'Reilly's today and thought I'd look for one while I was there and bought
"this" just to at least see if it would fit. I was more than pleased with the outcome. I'm not going to lie, it's not the "perfect" fit but it looks damn good. I can get more pictures if wanted. I just had to push the screws through the rubber of the shifter boot and onto the bottom of the plastic console piece and it was that easy.
It even looks more like a boot a truck would have.
