Default Wiring up Power seats?

Well i think i hit a great deal on some Eddie Bauer leather power seats.. They have one small hole on the drivers seat but for the price i will deal with that for now lol.

I need to know how to wire them up tho where would i have to get power from i figured i can just ground it out on the seat bolt it self.

What size wire did you use?

I did think about right from the battery then i thought about tapping in to the radio power wire also.

I think right from the battery will be easier tho even more so that i have the carpet and everything else out lol.

Did yours have the both plugs or just the one on the seat?

I think it was 8 or 10, because mine are heated and would rather lean towards over kill. Will have to check on plugs, but I think one for seat and one for airbag/seat belt.

I ran mine from radio. Then under the full center console so wire running was easy.

----------

excuse me, ran from 12v outlet

Do you remember what size wire you used?

I plan on getting the full center console here also sooner or later.

I ran 12 or 10ga from the battery (fused within 12" of the battery) inside the cab where I split into 2 smaller wires 12 or 14ga (I don't remember now) with fuse holders on each seat.

Grounded each seat with a large ring terminal bolted through a seat bolt.

I plan on re-doing them to operate on relays from a hidden switch... so the no a-holes can mess with my seats when getting serviced.
