I like benches. I almost traded my buckets for a 60/40 with a member on here. I like both options pretty much equally I guess.

My rangers got power buckets too. It's got everything but leather, lol.

Y'all ain't experienced a comfortable bench seat unless you've sat on a 1978-1981 Ranger Lariat bench. My god are those seats perfect. With most seats, they either have no support(Like the Ranger), or they have so much, it's like they swallow you in. I hate both of those types of seats. This is where the Ranger Lariat seats were perfect. They had a bunch of extra padding in them, but the padding is nice and firm, so it does nothing but support your back and ass. It's like sitting on the best pillow in the world. Here's the one in my F100.

I like my buckets and console better than anything that came in the rangers or explorers. Not hard to do if you can do some basic fab work.

I hate the split bench. It's my only complaint about my Ranger,
it's not suited for bigger guys like me. Because of the arm rest, the
driver's seat is quite narrow and I always feel like I'm going to fall out
of the truck.

I pulled those out of a 1996 Mazda MX-6 from the junkyard. I only paid $60 for the pair.
