Default Seat change tonight help!!!

Ok so I found a good deal on some racing seats tonight and they could be gone soon , I have a 89' and its a full bench and I hate it I want to be able to put in a center console, Does anybody know how hard it would be to do a swap and make the racing seats work ? HELP TONIGHT PLEASE!!!! Thanks!

You are going to need brackets for bucket seats for sure, otherwise it's pretty straight forward

as long as you get seat sliders that will fit the cab, you can make anything fit. can you weld?

My current bench is on sliders so can I just use the sliders from it? And yes I can weld hahaha

Where can I get brackets? these arnt seats that are like reclining ones and all that these are the racing seats with the shell with the cover on them they are a solid peice of plastic

You are probably going to have to build a set of brackets then based of the stockers. I don't know enough about your seats then to give you the best answer.

The seats from Summit that are the same ones are almost 50 a peice and I can get both for 50 bucks think I should take a whack at it???

swoop up on the seats if they're a deal, then either hit the junk yard or make seat mounts yourself. i've seen it done easily with pieces of tube, as long as you're ok with the seats not sliding

Yeah, jump on them. If nothing else, clean them up, and sell them for a little more then you paid for them. You've started paying for your project already lol
